WHO WE ARE
As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with deep gratitude and great expectation. This is a landmark year marked by prayer, reflection, and celebration, including:
The 250th Anniversary of the United States
The 75th Anniversary of the National Day of Prayer
The 14th Anniversary of the Rochester-based National Day of Prayer Initiative, led by Bishop David J. Singleton, Sr.
In honor of these milestones, we invite you to participate in a powerful three-day prayer gathering, open to all, with a special call to individuals, churches, and ministries across the Northeast region of the United States.
Over the years, this regional initiative has united participants from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan. We believe Rochester, New York is uniquely positioned to serve as a spiritual epicenter for this region—a place where believers can gather in unity for prayer, worship, service, and fellowship.
Throughout the Greater Rochester area, attendees will have multiple God-honoring opportunities to engage in prayer, community service, worship, and meaningful connection. Beyond the spiritual experience, Rochester offers rich cultural, historical, and family-friendly attractions to enjoy during your visit.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to bring Christ to all the world through prayer.
We are a ministry founded on biblical principles, grounded in integrity, compassion, and a deep love for God, our country, our communities, and all people. We believe that when believers unite in prayer, transformation happens—lives are changed, hearts are renewed, and communities are strengthened.
This initiative exists to serve those who are lost, discouraged, or seeking hope. We minister with respect, dignity, and love, and we have witnessed firsthand the spiritual transformation that occurs when God’s people pray together to our living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Love for God.
Love for our country.
Love for our communities.
Love for all people.
These are the foundations upon which the Prayer Initiative is built.
